About our Chapter
The Nassau County Chapter of the New York State School Facilities Association is committed to the profession of educational facilities management and the creation of lifetime learners. Our primary objective is to afford our members continued opportunities for professional growth and development. Our mission is to support educational excellence by providing Nassau students with the safest facilities and creating optimal environments for learning.

Monthly Meetings
The 2025 – 2026 Meeting Calendar for our Local Chapter has been established and is included below. Meetings begin at 12 noon and will continue to be held at Westbury Manor.
The “Directors’ Only Meeting” will begin at 11:15 AM unless the President needs more time or cancels the meeting. Notifications relating to a change in meeting times, dates or locations will be disseminated via the Chapter list serve and/or email chain.
Executive Board Meetings will begin at 5:00 PM. (Summer 4:00 PM)
January | 5th – Monday | 13th
February | 2nd – Monday | 10th
March | 2nd – Monday | 19th joint meeting w/ Suffolk, hosted by the Suffolk County Chapter.
April | 13th – Monday | 21st
May | 4th – Monday | 12th
June | 8th – Monday | 16th
CO-OP Meetings will be held at the Brookside School, 1260 Meadowbrook Road, North Merrick beginning at 3:00 pm. October 15, 2025, December 9, 2025, March 3, 2026 and if needed May 5, 2026.
The End of the Year party is scheduled for June 22, 2026.
Chapter Elections
The Nassau Chapter chapter elections are held in November of each year and new chapter officers take office in January.
