It is any space, the first space served by a multi-space HVAC system, so that space does not necessarily need to be a classroom; it could be any space, but the first independent space served by that system must have a detection and then a second detector in the approved location; that approved location would have multiple possibilities, one possibility is in the corridor area outside the space that would notify the most occupants or alternatively in a main office area.
