It is reasonable to assume that at some point, potentially in the near future, these carbon monoxide systems will make their way onto SED’s annual fire safety inspection reporting process.  It is a life safety system, and we do think it’s prudent to have a trained fire inspector include this in their monitoring or oversight when they walk around school facilities.  It is not likely to happen immediately, but we are discussing how to integrate this into the existing fire safety inspection process.
